What is Evil?

What is Evil?

This one was a tough one to name, the concept is basically the response I have heard to “did God create evil?” in the context of Christian theology. The answer that was given was that God is light and so when he created something His creation had the choice to either look at Him, or to turn to its shadow, the shadow being the absence of light and hence evil.

It may not be a theologically or philosophically sound argument but it made, what I hope, is an interesting image. Not one of my best I don’t think but it was worth the effort I feel.

Very touching image. Without shadow there is no light, and vice versa.
It’s a very yin /yang image to me, so I see it without judgment as bad or good, just that it is the way of the universe.
