    Excellent – but please don’t forget there are men who live in fear too. I write an article for a newspaper about a mens’ shelter in Cardiff – there were guys there who had suffered knife attacks, genital mutilation whilst sleeping etc. I know it’s not as common but that may be because men are frightened to admit that they are being bullied by their wives/partners.
    Take care and let’s hope that none of us ever end up in that situation. XX

    Agreed Meach, DV in not exclusive to just women & children, although, as you stated, it is more prevelant within this dynamic. It is also a big, and largely unspoken, issue within same sex relationships, but no matter what the gender, fear & intimidation have an insidious way of silencing people. My purpose here is to help empower, not to accuse. :-}}
    Thanks for taking on, & getting involved in, what can be an incredibly challenging issue.

    If a seventh word was freed, would it cry “NO!”?
    Thank you. Every voice and every sound matters.

    Thank you so much Meta, sadly, (as you well know), there are still too many silent screams that are not heard…they drive me on to scream louder. Very glad to know there are others screaming alongside.

    you are right it is very sad but when more voices join together the scream will resound and be as powerful as a raging waterfall, then changes will be made. Right on Lumineux!!
