Totally! Thank you. :)
Hey friend, thanks! Nice to see you.
Nice shot! Marion.
My thanks to you Hans, always good to see you :)
You are so great at composing a picture Marion – Lovely girl and a beautiful perfect picture :o)
Thanks so much Kira, what a lovely observation and compliment, I do so appreciate it.I remember being this age and always climbing trees & often heard myself referred to as a ‘tom boy’. A woman, (friend of the family), once told me I should not be climbing trees because I was a girl and little girls didn’t climb tree as it was dirty & not ‘lady like’. I’m afraid my father was rather rude to her and promptly put her in her pompous place, he told her in no uncertain terms to raise her own children the way she saw fit but to leave me be, that she had no business telling me what I could or couldn’t do. He then turned to me in front of her and told me the only thing I couldn’t do was believe there was something I couldn’t do! What a great lifelong lesson that turned out to be!
Oh what a wonderful father you have Marion – I wish I’d been so lucky. The support and love we get as children is “food” for the rest of out lives.
My father had a lot of issues and we had a pretty tough life with him when I was young but I can say when he did come through, he really came through and it stuck. :)
Beautifully clear and fabulous capture Marion. The colours of her clothes really bring out the colours in this capture.
Many thanks my friend, good to see you. Flick me a BM sometime soon and let me know how you’re doing!
This is marvelous!!!
As are you my friend, thank you!
