Each new journey or endeavour begins firstly by looking back. This looking to the past serves to remind us of just how far, or not, we have come. Either realisation has the capacity to spur us on to strive, and achieve, ever higher.
Some of you have already heard the story surrounding this particualr image and know that it has significant meaning to me.
It is THE (imperfect) image that inspired me to once again take up photography, a passion I had lost, along with myself, long ago when I allowed the belief that a mundane existence was enough to get in the way of what life really should be.
