Lots of apprehension in this lovely old fashioned image. Beautifully rendered, Marion.jx
They were both mesmerised by the waves Jesika, I don’t think these kids had been in Australia very long, it was definitely the first time they had seen waves like this & stood for ages on the shore watching the surging waters. I loved seeing the wonder of it all for them.Thank you!
and that’s a good size wave coming in!! Excellent image.
It sure was a fair bit bigger than they were and both were completely wonderous at the size of the waves in general, was fun watching them squeal & run when they got a little too close for comfort. Many thanks Dave.
What an absolutely precious image – and one could read several different moods into this which makes it an even better photo than it seems on the surface, Marion. Just wonderful!!
Thank you so much dear Lianne, I am always thrilled with your ability to make the time to truly take an image in. I do so appreciate this about you my friend.I am also so sorry I missed your comment, I really hope you don’t think me rude or ignorant or unappreciative. I seem to be missing so many comments on my work recently. :(
Great moment captured Marion, that wave looks kinda big :)
Thanks so much Trish, they truly were impressive waves and sure had these two mesmerised. So sorry to have missed your comment, I do truly appreciate each and every one.
Oooh~!! I can sense their trepidation….you’ve captured this so well my dear!!Beautiful B&W!
what a fantastic capture, like their reflections in the wet sand and the wave is awesome!
The waves appear taller than they, Marion. Apt title and a superb shot and exposure!
Sweet Marion – I’d never think such a thing of you. And after all – I’d be the pot calling the kettle black! I’m so far behind in my own comments and thank yous, I’m down right ashamed!!
fabulous ~ capture so well done, love the b&w and the size of waves reigning high and impending & contrasting their more calming wading water where they await ~ to map so well to your verse, which is so very true!!
