Who is not moved by a moving field of grain? The flowing path of a breeze can lead the eyes and the spirit over undulating fields of discovery. To “stop” the motion is not the purpose of this photograph. To “hold” the feeling, is. Upon your wall, let this image lead your eyes to feast and your spirit glide.
This photograph was taken while walking several kilometers to Andechs Abbey in Bavaria, Germany.
A place of pilgrimage, the Benedictine monastery, has been brewing beer since 1445. So here in Germany, one might deliberate whether “bread is the staff of life” or “beer is the staff of life”. Either way, this nearby field of grain, is an integral part of the experience.
