This is gorgeous!
This location yielded so many exciting views – I let some of them simmer and then came back to the images as an “outsider” to see which ones might be most appealing.
Awesome!! I love this ~ Elaine :)))
I sure appreciate your interest Elaine. This planet of ours is a wonderful creation.
Spectacular image, Bob! The depth of field is amazing, as is your excellent composition. Your fellow hiker in the shot gives the viewer a really good sense of the scope of this most unusual scene.
I’m guessing that this must be near “The Wave”. It’s a gorgeous photograph, wherever it was taken!
Yes, Gene, this is just _beyond _ the Wave_. This series was shot on the occasion of our 41st wedding anniversary. As only a very understanding wife would allow, two other photographers went with us, when, surprisingly, we were awarded four permits! By the time of this exposure, Dana and one photographer were content to rest/wait while Dick and I explored further. Satisfied, Dick then led them all back on the trail. I could still not leave any light “on the table” and continued to shoot. The precious memories now have added emotional content with the fact that Dick has since passed away. I suspect he may have now seen even more amazing views!
Very unusual. I think the different areas are great! You have been so lucky!
Interesting scenery…nicely captured Robert
Nice rock formation!
