Yes i’m back home. It’s amazing how fast time can pass when you enjoy what you do. These two weeks went so fast.
We visited some beautiful places and the only regret is that we didn’t have more time, after all i drove for 4,600 kms in 16 days…

Beside meeting relatives and some friends we had two main destinations, Croatia to visit the Plitvice Lakes and Cinque Terre in Italy. On the way from Croatia to Italy we also stopped a few hours in Slovenia to see the wonderful Postojna Caves.

It was the first time for me in Croatia and i can only say good things about it. All the people we met were very helpful and nice. For sure a place to visit more. The Plitvice Lakes are just wonderful, the colors, the nature and the waters running are amazing and you can choose between many routes to see the lakes and the waterfalls as you like.

At the Cinque Terre (it can be translated with The Five Villages) we staied at Manarola, the second one. It is really amazing to see how these villages were built on the rocks just above the sea. All the zone is a national park and cars are not allowed so you really need a good phisical condition (which is not my case :)) to go up and down the hills with narrow streets and stairs, but for sure it’s a well deserved effort.

I took many pictures and in the next days and weeks i hope i will have the time to upload some of them, most are more the postcard type of pictures but i like some of them.

Now back we the usual, boring day to day routine.
