Oorahh !! (Jarhead movie comments)
Once a blue moon I watch ‘Jarhead’ , a story of a Marine’s encounter in the Gulf war. A great outlook on war and the soldiers (usually 18-20 yr olds) that signed a contract and our deployed all over the world in the most gruesome conditions.
One key factor in the movie that always resonates with me is the troop deployment over the Kuwaiti-Iraqi war … (490,000). Unparalleled with today…
Don't be mad....

Death of a young one in Chi-town
I wasn’t having the most pleasant day to say the least… got home and checked my e-mail account for job offers. Nope…nada…same amount of mail in my inbox as yesterday. Patience is a virtue I rarely practiced… so I’m disappointed and frustrated with my current unemployment situation…
Why not surf the u-tube land and see what’s on the most discussed list and what socially aware v…
Awesomeness!!
My second feature for ‘Jersey girl’... good feeling indeed. Very true what someone here on RB mentioned, that when you write from your heart….the best comes out (something along those lines). I’m thrilled and surprised….It was just a short string of thoughts from photo I saw and tried to put the details of my pen onto it. Thanks once again.
'28 DAYS LATER' and future location of the series
Lately on the from page of RB there have been great shots of the Eiffel Tower. From the ground and from aside and even a whole capture of the iconic structure.
They start to remind me of the movie ‘28 days later’ (new age zombie flick).
The movie came out in the summer of ‘02 and I’ve seen it for the first time a few years ago. It was based in England… the action started in London …
employment (finally and briefly)
Ahhh it feels like the rain washed off the debris that I’ve been carrying in or on my mind. I did a gig for 4 hours or close to that and got some pocket money but, the feeling of a step forward was refreshing. Ironically, the work centered around an oil paintings gallery. I had to set the thing up in a local wholesale store. It was a chill environment and the work went by fast.
A Thank U
A long over due thanks to RB for featuring 1 of my writings on their main page. Very cool of them…felt really good to see my title up there. I found a lot of interesting people on this site …from poets to painters/designers/photographers/ and philosophers with free tongues and wise words. A truly awesome site filled with kind people.
pollution
So I’ve been out of work for months now… feels like years in my mind. The absence of activities or lack the motivation of them left me dry. I mean physically, emotionally, psychologically dry and empty. One poet wrote that eventually your mind freezes when out of work for so long. Ha… my mind is like a glacier melting, cracking, and dropping ton by ton into the ocean by now.
I got a pro…
District 9 (some spoilers)
Rarely I watch a sci-fi movie and impressed to the point of ‘could this really happen’. I spoke of movies before but never wrote or critiqued any of them. My remarks were given in the 1-10 star scale on IMDb… usually
I grade high cause I can spot a descent piece of film in about ten minutes or even just a preview.
This is a flick filled with action, drama, and most of all, questions a…
