Splitting Atoms
Huge crashing waves meant I got wet. Tripod got wet. Camera got wet. Ah, but where’s the fun in keeping dry.
On another note, my photo Half Time won the Hawaiian Skyscapes challenge in the “Skyscapes Group”http://www.redbubble.com/skyscapes

Awesome image Luka, love the angle and that sun flare is awesome, great title too! Bummer that you got wet, it certainly is a blustery location! :o)
Luka Skracic replied
Cheers mate, glad i could get a decent shot of the great location without too many water drops on the lens!
Stuart Chapman
The light on the beams just before they (and you and your gear) receive another soaking is sublime and breathtakingly eye catching. Love the sun rays as they appear to be stretched across the sky, being pulled out of the slither of horizon between sea and clouds.
Congrats on the win too – it’s a cracking image
Luka Skracic replied

Stunning, Luka !!! Perfect composition, magical lighting and reflections !!! Ah ! what we photographers have to go through for the ‘Perfect Pic’, man it sure was worth it- a great result !!
Luka Skracic replied
You’re too kind Phil, thank you very much. I suppose us photographers sacrifice a lot sometimes (e.g a good sleep in) but the results are always worth it!
