Babi Yar – today ( August 2008)

More than 100,000 people, mostly civilians, of whom a significant number were Jews & childrens were murdered there by the Nazis there during World War II.

Monument to children killed at Babi Yar belongs to the following groups:

    Thank you do much Margaret, today is memorial day for many veterans who still alive, so I decided upload some images from the place where I was born and had such a huge tragedy of the war

    thank you Kate, Most of survivors of world war II, are very old now, I was lucky not to see it, but I hate wars
