Thanks Kate, I was staying over my classmate friend in Kiev just behind those modern buildings, Those buildings is nothing to compare to soviet area – very good looking and as I understand very expensive. But this is what you get, beautiful beach and gorgeous view on town , gold domes of the city and about 10 min from city center. I would love stay in such a area.

Thank you Bela, I think when I left Ukraine there was a huge park with Americana attractions there, a lot of cafes , picnic place and huge beach area where I spent the most of my summer time on the rented boat. There is not much left for this type of activities. But new constructions are gorgeous, if you of course rich enough to buy them.

Well, it is same in USA, but it was more noticeable for me in Ukraine after returning back after 18 years gap.
