Made in Photoshop CS3
Any comments are helpful, anything to help me make the characters appear more 3D would be greatly appreciated.
As for a narrative of this piece, the title gives away the general plot so to say. Hope you like it as I worked really hard on this one to make it my best

Edit: I went back and recoloured this. This is the most recent version and the most up to date. I think it looks loads better :3

    Yay, you finally coloured this picture I like : )
    It’s so cute! The blue tinge is great. It’s like the TV’s still on and is the only source of light. Their hair is great too.

    Here’s a helpful comment: I think add some darker shadows just underneith, behind and on the side of the edges of the couch would make it look more 3D. Just imagine where the light doesn’t touch the objects at all and make that spot real dark.

    Great work :)

    @Rawbun. Yay! I can’t get super Mario galaxy yet. But I hope you’re having fun with it. It’s good to know it’s consistent.

    @Laura. I tried doing that. For some reason the shadows wouldn’t darken so much. I might try to edit it later :3
    Thanks to you both

    I already told you that I like this and I’ll tell you again anyway. I like the colours that you have used, it sets the mood very well. I really like the girls hair, looks good. :)

    Now I see it darker than before commenting. I think I’m going to the oculist soon. Nevermind, here we go. They stayed playing Assassin’s Creed for too long and fell asleep due to boredom! nah, kidding, you captured a great moment. It feels peaceful, friendly. It doesn’t trigger my “insta-reject” function. Peace is something lacking nowadays, huh? This is the stuff I can sadly never say properly.

    For 3D tricks, I can only suggest the usual: put a layer with black and lower the opacity a bit, play with brightness/contrasts… I’m no expert sadly ^^;;
