Were it not for their coloring, they are similar in appearance to the
Red Panda, but are a species apart.
We get foxes, you get raccoons. I think I prefer foxes.

There was once a Levi’s corduroy jeans commercial with a raccoon: here’s a guy walking in his cords through the woods, all we hear is that sound corduroy pants make, vttt vttt vttt vttt” then we see a racoon testing the wind, listening, and he squeaks out the same noise looking around, vtt? vttt? back to the guy walking, vttt vttt vttt a little faster, raccoon starts off in that direction excited, squeaking vttt vttt vttt, guy looks behind him, speeds up now, vttt vttt vttt vttt, raccoon starts to run, vttt vttt vttt vttt, guy takes off full speed vtttvtttvtttvtttvtttvttt, raccoon running after at full speed, and that’s it! Levi’s cords commercial, hilarious, and no one speaks a word! I have several pairs.

Great capture. I used to have these bandits on my property all the time. They have VERY sharp claws and have the strength of a small bear.
