Mount Robson Provincial Park

This is MountRobson…The peak of Mount Robson is the highest in the Canadian Rockies, towering 12,972 feet (3954 m) over the western entrance to the park. As well as occupying a portion of the Main (Park) Ranges of the Rockies, the park, one of the oldest in British Columbia, also contains the headwaters of the Fraser River

    Great photo of Mount Robson! This photo has me home sick. I grew up about a hundred miles west of this mountain and I have seen it many times. But it still to me an awesome site to behold!

    I lived in a small backwoods community call Crescent Spur it about 35 miles west the small town of McBride BC and about 110 miles east of the city of Prince George. About 2 miles off HWY 16. I grew up surrounded by mountain and now I live in flat Manitoba- I miss the mountains.

    How did you manage to get a clear shot of Mt. Robson? Most of the time (due to its height) it seems to be shrouded in clouds. Keep up the good work :)

    Hi Solo … we were really lucky that day ..the sky was clear for the whole time we were there..just as we were leaving the clouds started to roll in … everyone told me that they are usually covered up and you cant see it ..thanks for your comment :)
