Everything that is created and every idea evolves from somewhere, and that somewhere doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the final destination, this is just a shirt with a pattern on it, and the pattern can mean a thousand things beyond one point, and not stating something it may or may not mean doesn’t mean that ‘it doesn’t or does mean it’.
.
I was reading yet another another article on some fancy new telescope that assisted us in being able to see stars form in the galaxy around the time of the Big Bang, if there ever was a Big Bang, and I remembered how I used to love this stuff, but now I think it’s time we accepted how our view up has increased our awareness of our own vulnerability and we thought about looking down at least as much. The nearest star (apart from the sun) is about 4.2 light years away, which would take about 90,000 years to get to in Voyager 2. So we’re not getting there anytime soon. At present we appear to be destroying this planet, and aware of it, so really that’s a lot like suicide. Priorities people.

The blade is made of an image of the oldest galaxy we’ve found, and I stencilled it so I could use paint drips rather than blood. I’m trying to avoid blood these days.

And I’m no astronomer, if my information is incorrect please blame the internet as a whole for lying. And go and ask this man, Mr Dave Pearson who actually does know what he is talking about and to whom I dedicate this tee and my new thoughts about it.

    Ah yes…. Hell yes.
I can`t tell you how much this impresses me.

The graphic itself is clear and strong, as is the message behind it all.

That and I`m a big fan of some paint splatter..

    No.

You can’t go uploading two tees in one day of this calibre. It’s simply not the done thing. Where are your manners man ?

The universe is an intruiging thing, I understand what you’re saying about priorities, but astronomers wouldn’t make good farmers. And besides, they are searching for our nearest escape route, or some aliens with an all-in-one ozone hole repairing, carbon emission reducing, greenhouse gas removing, lazerbeam positron ion cannon rescue package.

    It’s possible.

Aha, indeed, look I’m not swinging a blow at astronomer, it’s a metaphor. There’s an article in The Age this very morning about a chap who’s spending 3 million to go into space, the whole mission is hundreds of millions of dollars, as far as I can tell the answer is not ‘out there’ and even if it is it’s not happening very soon, whereas what is going on down here, could well happen very soon.

You scare me with the detail you go to get your art and message across.
What else scares me is the fact that it is over the head of 99.9% of the population.
Genius is not a word I throw aroung freely.
So I’ll call this fucking genius

Universe, universe. How cool, I love the drippy-ness. And the spatter look like more stars, almost… love it.

Ooohhh! At first glance I was like, ’ Oh wow, it’s so simple yet so cool!’ But then when I looked over at the detail on the right, I realized that it’s so much more than just an awesome design – it’s a very big statement about a very complex issue. I should have expected it, though, since you are so good at that stuff :)
I agree with you 100% by the way. My boyfriend and I are both huge nerds and we talk about this stuff a lot.
I like that the outer paint splatters just look like paint splatters at first, but then when you realize there’s a whole galaxy in that razorblade they look more like stars spilling out :)
