The Best Things In Life Aren't Things
A happy one for sunday morning.
So Danny had this ‘good idea’ and, rather shocked, passed it on to, well, everyone, but not before coming up with this, this, and this.
Then sjem came up with this
NoFrills brought this
And Nat Tyler followed with this
All remarkable, thoughtful and well executed designs, without exception.
I decided that the bold typography had been suitably covered and went pictorial, representing WW1 with a Zeppelin, WW2 with a Spitfire, morphing them together, and the WWW with a trail of binary bombs. The historical of you will say ‘Spitfires didn’t drop bombs’, but the rest of you won’t care.
Cheers Danny.

Another brilliant execution. This is the concept that just keeps on giving. I wonder if we can go for some kind of challenge record for the most interpretations of the one theme.

I miss you

I think i missed the whole Danny having an ‘ideas party’.. so aside from the concept behind it.. what it means any any depth it may have.. i fucking love it! The textures are tre cool too.
Nice work brother from another mother!

Very nice LI. I tried to make my text turn into binary for the www section on my tee at first…but i wasnt happy with the gradient fade out i applied so scrapped it. Good to see a visual rather than type version. I couldnt think of one so kudos to you.

It was a visual bastard. WW1 and 2 were easy enough, but the WWW is a tricky fucker, this morphed into a desktop at first, but it’s such a boring fucking image.
But I liked that it was hard.

I didn’t get it until it was explained….binary AND it looks like a 100 years of warfare.
Nicely done.
...not til Borat did the word ‘nice’ become ironic and good enough to use again with feeling!
It’s very nice.

The historical of you will say ‘Spitfires didn’t drop bombs’
