If you’re constantly exposed to it, I fail to see how it can’t affect you.
I just whipped this up tonight after being inspired again to create by Scott Robinson.

This is brilliant! Is that title a song lyric reference by any chance?
CDCcreative, 4 months ago
Nice work. I like that there is always another layer of meaning to your images.
sjem, 4 months ago
Who died and made you a dutchman ?
The internets went down today at work so I have obviously missed something.
Anyway I’m blaming Scott for this inspired creative outburst. It clearly has nothing to do with you. Fucking cool but. Makes me taste metal.

Did you add the sarcasm in Illustrator, or is there a free program I can download from the interweb!
Bloody brilliant!

Vanden Plas is apparently Flemish. Fuck knows why Austin and Rover used it to apply to cars. The Rover Vanden Plas was among a number of shitty cars the poms made in the 80’s. The only things the British make well now is divorcees, and even they have one leg and are a bit mental…
Anyway, this is clever as usual…

Well f%*k me…
I can`t tell you how good it is to see images like this here again.
Multi-layered messages, and strong execution, all with a rather delicate balance.. Pure Lucan Genius, it`s what we`re here for.
Lucan Industri... in reply to Natalie Tyler’s comment, 4 months ago
It certainly is a song reference. Spotted. You win a short holiday.
Did you enjoy it? Good, back to work.
Lucan Industri... in reply to Chris White’s comment, 4 months ago
It was the motor Cowley drove in the first series of the Professionals, before he got his lovely Granada with the bakelite car phone.
Lucan Industri... in reply to nofrillsart’s comment, 4 months ago
Absolutely, this is all down to Scott’s nipples.
kcranmer, 4 months ago
Wow cool tee work!

Is the title a reference from Ticks and Leeches by any chance, or am i way off?
Lucan Industri... in reply to ayarti’s comment, 4 months ago
Ray dee o hed. Actually.
Frank Stillitano, 4 months ago
Nice work.
I wonder if the visual interest could be improved by varying the size of the guns/ grenades a bit more. i.e. perhaps one of the lungs could almost be completely filled by one hand grenade…
Lucan Industri... in reply to Frank Stillitano’s comment, 4 months ago
Yes, well I actually had both sides completely different at first, like real lungs, but it looked a little weird, so I mirrored them. The thing with the grenades is they are mapped out they same as the passages entering the lungs, so they are in a specific pattern.
Lucan Industri... in reply to mister khan’s comment, 4 months ago
Holy Fucking Hoff. A Holy Hoff-NobTM.
I am truly touched, by Hoff. Dirty fucker.

Maybe you should work fast all the time.
It must have been hard tracing all those GI Joe accessories over and over again.
Does this mean you’re back or just you just dropped in to rub our noses in it?
2 Hobnobs
Lucan Industri... in reply to Danny’s comment, 4 months ago
Two Hobnobs? Fuck me Jack, that’s pushing it, it’s just some vector bollocks.
Well ordinarily I like to work in ranges, or themes, as you well know, I just vomited this up last night after my first day back at the bubble for a while, maybe they’ll be something round the corner. But it’s best if I leave the kids guessing.

Lucan Industri... in reply to LostBoy1’s comment, 4 months ago
That’s kind of the point Dave, the clincher is can we stop it affecting us? In your case of course it’s a closed deal.
LostBoy1, 4 months ago
you mean due to my ignorance towards everything because of my souless attention span?
Lucan Industri... in reply to LostBoy1’s comment, 4 months ago
No, I meant the occasional themes of violence in your work
