I like to scribble….

I started wow..like 4 years ago now…lol…i use to doodle stick figures and swirls. Then one day a friend was drawing at work (manga) and i ask him if he could draw a dragon for me. He said he could, but wouldn’t. I responded fine, I will learn to draw it myself. I went to the library and checked out 3 books. One week later I had drawn my dragon. I was pretty proud of it to. I showed it to that friend and he shot it down. the dragon had no dimensions, no substance, and wasn’t overall all not very good. This critque of my work hurt my feelings of course but, It also made me very determine to get better just to hahahah him.

So I started studying in my spare time. Even when I had free time at work I would practice. Less then a year went by when I Drew that Bob Marley in my Gallery freehand. just my eyes and a pencil. He kept on critisizing my work. LOL until one day i drew a colored cherry i was about to practice drawing some more when he asked me what book did i get the first one out of. After that I knew I was getting good and wanted to get better. I seem to always want to get better. My primary goal is to be able to draw anything I want from my mind, to what my eyes see.

I also want very badly to paint, because colors thrill me. Color always seemed outside my spectrum and intimadate me. But I am a collector of skills and I intend to collect that one. (I’m getting over the intimadation)....lol…I am also learning how to carve rock and wood. :0)
