‘Rawnsley Park’ is a beautiful camping area in the iconic Flinders Ranges of South Australia. It sits on the edge of the Flinders Ranges National Park next to the iconic ‘Wilpena Pound,’ a climb up the ridge takes you to views into ‘Wilpena Pound’. There is a huge crag on the edge of the ridge at the beginning of the Park named Rawnsley Bluff. The soil in this northern country area is Red, the shadows blue. This time I chose to paint the sweeping hills covered in Spring greens up to the purple and craggy peaks and the Park Dam behind the camping area.
The Painting is on Canvas and measures 51cm x 40cm.
