Featured in Australian Country Towns group 2012
The tiny country town of Henry Lawson’s (famous Australian Writer/Poet) birthplace late 1800’s circa. We stopped over in a quiet little caravan park after pouring rain. Luckily the next morning the sun was shining and we had a good day to have a look around this historical rural town. Fascinating places to visit.

Great capture of a street scene.

  • Thank you Judy for your encouraging comment, it is a very quaint town with shops dating back to mid 1800’s. After all Australia is still a young country but an ancient land.

Nice shot of an interesting and noteworthy little town. Did you hunt around for the few remaining buildings that were featured on the original $10 note?

  • Love the comment Dash, I did indeed find a few noteworthy buildings but I can’t remember what was on the original $10 note. Thank you for taking time to stop by I really appreciate that.
