The ‘The Archie Badenoch’ was the first Water Police boat to cruise the waters of the Port River and open sea off Outer Harbour back in the early 1900’s also used for as a rescue boat. It has been lovingly restored and is now used for pleasure cruises along the Port River. Named after the first Police Officer at the helm. Built in Port Adelaide and in its same berth.
The old ‘Birkenhead’ Bridge is in the background.
