Tour Down Under 4th stage 140klm up to the hills and finishing in ‘Tanunda’, The ‘Barossa Valley’. The 3rd stage of cyclists for the charity ride in aid of Cancer left the Adelaide Oval at 7.30am in groups. The 1st Group left ‘Norwood’ in the City at 6.30am a beautiful morning. Australia’s Opposition Leader the Honourable Tony Abbot started with the main bunch at 6.30am. All the riders were wearing Red jerseys and they strung out along the 140klm route with escape routes throughout for the recreational cyclists. Many of them were from sporting cyclists groups and there were over 7,000 of them overall some from interstate. The main Peloton were due through Mt. Pleasant at 12.30pm.
