These immature wrens came to see if I had put out some cheese this morning. It is the only way I get them close enough for me to photograph. They are so tiny and quick. We now have a two groups around the garden & yards making 11 in all. The two in photograph were from a two nesting’s in Spring/Summer from one pair and have been more around the house than the 2nd group. The two males from this group only have a blue tail until they find a mate from another group and then they will show more blue feathers all year round. They are tiny & very quick always on the move a real pleasure to have around. up to 14 cm from tip of tail to beak. Mount Pleasant, Adelaide Hills. S.Aust.
