The Spinifex Pigeons sunning themselves. N.Territory. by

I was lucky to stumble across these two sitting so obligingly, I took one or two other pics of them looking for seed but they blend in so well with the ancient earth & rocks at Kings Canyon, N. Territory it is hard to get a clean line with my camera. You need to be quick as they are amazingly quite shy of the many tourists now treading up & down the canyon outback Northern Territory, Australia.

aorbbirds, natives, nature, pigeons, red earth, outback, australia

I guess you could call me a shutterbug, I am for ever looking for something to photograph, and experimenting with my camera. Colour lights up my life, children, scenery, the sea in all it’s moods, native flora & fauna etc:- Please feel free to browse through the categories in my profile.
