The Southern Hemisphere’s highest viewing platform is situated on the 88th floor named Skydeck 88 & is a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building. Having a glass floor not everyone can enjoy the opportunity to take in the awe inspiring panoramic views. Only those with a head for heights can do it. ’’The top of the building has a reflective material so that it catches the sun and sends shafts of sunlight across & down the buildings. The tower is located adjacent to the Yarra River in the city center and is a whole new way of looking at Melbourne and the world………borrowed from an advertising card.

Lovely building – well caught Rita. We wouldn’t know Melbourne now, it has changed so much.

  • Thank You Roy. The gold plate on the far edge is really effective when the sun shines on it. I have to agree it is a lovely building and the colour is very attractive.
