We finally made it to another of Adelaide’s best kept secrets.
A hidden Gorge in undulating rural properties with high cliffs, cascades & waterfalls. Mannum South Australia.
The path from the gate into the area was broad and flat, when it started to climb it narrowed considerably and here and there wooden posts to make steps had been added. We climbed down again at one stage to get a closer look at the water thinking we could take a different track but no only the top one. That made for some spectacular views anyway. If only the clouds had dispersed but it wasn’t to be
The water was running fast and milky and other walkers assured us there was water in the falls. It turned out to be over 3klm return and tricky in parts.
I made it and so I think I am finally over the tendon tare under my right foot. Yeah!!
