Nearing Sunset! Warrumbungle Nat.Park. N.S.W. Aust. by

We found a different track to walk on each evening to catch the sunset but it didn’t always work. I liked this one though looking in a different direction from the famous ‘High Tops’. The park is huge and so many lovely walks. We had decided that tomorrow we would tackle the long walk & climb to the High Tops.
So the four of us retired early for a good start whilst the weather was so great. Spring.

Love that skyline Rita – hope you made it to the High Tops ! Is that Gorse or Broome in the foreground ?
    Lovely clear image.

  • Thanks for the lovely critique and comments Roy. Yes we did and we felt very thrilled with ourselves…!

  • No it’s not the dreaded Gorse, it is Australia’s Nat. floral emblem The ‘Wattle’ and heaps are flowering now. There are many many species and late Winter/spring the roadsides are lit up with them. They are good in the garden because they do the ground good helping other trees survive.
