We make it to the top of the high cliffs along Cania Gorge proper. There is seating here and it is known as the Kings Seat orChair. It would have been lovely to see it with sunshine filtering throughout but the mist gave it a lovely peaceful feel of complete serenity. There was a flat narrow winding path along the top through scrub before we came out to this spectacular view. The different trees and shrubs were very interesting and we spotted a yellow robin on the track. My Olympus Compact camera although good didn’t have enough zoom for taking good close-up bird pics.
Cania Gorge is a very short drive from Monto, a rural town southeast Queensland. Australia.
