21"H x 24"W. Lithograph on green textured paper (since money used to be green & is also a color that is symbolic of envy).

This is a satirical piece about the struggle with Uncle Sam over the almighty dollar. I will explain more in the details.

Edges are torn and meant to be raw and are against a black paper backing. All blurring is intentional, and the original print is identical.

Detail of Uncle Sam’s hand:

Detail of the shirt & tie guy’s hand:

Detail of the “tug-of-war” dollar bill:

Detail of money bags & coins & stacks of bills:

Detail of pattern that came from a flipping a stack of money between 2 hands:

Get it as a poster!

…Or a classy framed print!

It is almost as if the hand is cuffed as it is reaching for the dollar, making it even harder to grasp for it. When the government controls the market, judicial system, and the treasury it is very hard to get in on “the American dream.” Nice work.

  • Thanks! I didn’t notice that! Very nice!

    looks quite good……….

  • Oh I am flattered again Albert! Your work is stunning & a complement from you is definitely a feeling of joy I will save for a rainy day! (Only bc I have had other lovely complements from many others on other pieces that I saw to day, that have boosted my spirits already on an otherwise crummy day…my health issues are trying to get the better of me today & it’s a struggle to keep them from winning today!)
Thanks so much & I really need to go through all of your work, but I am SO backed up right now, but what I’ve seen, (and I have looked at your profile), you are amazingly talented! (not to belittle anyone else’s work here, ever-you have obviously had many years of experience!)
Thanks again, SO MUCH, as well as everyone else who has brightened my otherwise gloomy day! :)
