    Great work!

  • THNX So much! Still life is not my genre of choice, but I did really challenge myself, and put my own style on it. So, I am pleased with the outcome, and I know that this is a classic art form, so many people do love stilllife! Appreciate the compliment!

  • O! Thank you so much! I am so happy to have a complement on my lonely little forgotten about painting way at the bottom of my portfolio! :)
(I need to add it to more groups…but I keep getting sidetracked)
You have made my day even better with your fabulous complement!
Thanks again…and my lonely little painting thanks you as well! :)

Supjects like this are a challenge for me
    Wonderful combination

  • Thank you so much!
They are also a challenge for me!
I actually rather painting “unrealistic” images than still life.
I appreciate the art form & am amazed at what some people can do,
but I am overly-imaginative & to paint something realistic…I like to show that I can do it. Many people think that if you paint abstracts or work that isn’t in perfect perspective that it’s because you can’t do it.
So I like to once in a while show that I can & it is challenging.
…But I’d rather run with my imagination…I feel it’s more interesting (to me, anyhow)!

Hi there, thanks for commenting on my work just thought I’de repay the favor and check out your work.
I dont normally go for this sort of thing but this one really apeals to me, I like the slightly wonky shapes and shades you have used and the composition is great.
Also the domed shape at the back really compliments and ballances with the animal skull at the front.

  • Yes, I don’t either!
    (Hence the group…LOL!)
But I did the SL’s in school & they were the only ones not destroyed by a flood in my old house & I love to paint, so I had to have paintings in my portfolio when I first started.
(Also, the compositions are decent, so at least you can tell that I am capable…)
Thanks much for the complement! :)
I hope to have more paintings very soon! I am almost done with 2, but I just have so little time right now!
