This is the first time I’ve tried a long exposure shot seriously. My last tries were for half a second during the day time. The silhouette was a man who walked into the shot less than a second before I pressed the shutter and then, miraculously, stayed absolutely still for the 4 seconds (when I say ‘long exposure’, it wasnt THAT long…but i still wanted the wheel to have visible spokes.) and then immediately after it had finished taking, disappeared into the crowds. Weird…

The photo was taken in London, at the end of the London Boat Race.

This image is used as the Experimental group logo for profiles.

    actually the guy didn’t stay exactly still— he moved out of shot during it i think hence him being slightly transparent!!!!
