My name is Laura Barrand. I am a visual artist / interior designer by disipline. I have had numerous group exhibitions throughout the Mornington Peninsula, Vic, Australia and have had many commercial and private commissions. My work has been featured in the magazine “Home Beautiful style hunter”.
My artworks have been used in furniture hire jobs, across the melbourne scattered in beautiful homes to be that are ready to be sold. I rise to the challenge of commissioned artwork and consider stencil, mixed media and oils my specialty. I love to paint abstract, create new patterns to apply them to art and material.Mosaic and jewellery making is also a speciality. I like to play with color and let the paintbrush take me on a blissful journey to what is a subconcious artwork.
