I make my home in Spring City, Tennessee with my wife, daughter, and three dogs. Spring City is a small town in the eastern part of the state and lies in the shadow of the Cumberland Plateau. It is an approximate two-hour drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
My interest in photography began when I was a child and grew as my parents allowed me to take most of the family photos during holidays and vacations. Back then I mostly enjoyed being at the beach to capture sunrises and sunsets. Today my love of the outdoors with its peace and solitude has made nature photography my main interest. I also enjoy working with old abandoned structures, nighttime shots, and the processing of photos. I currently shoot with Nikon bodies and am working to increase my lens collection in order to shoot more wildlife photos.
When I am not working or taking pictures, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family and working with computers.
