Your portraits are so alive, Paul, as if the person is in the same room, only behind a veil of motion and emotion, which passes and changes very quickly, in micro seconds. Yet still, beyond the veil we get the sense of this being— a peek into the real person, rather than the masked character. This is why I love your work.

Never heard of this lady until you painted her and introduced her to RB! I have just read up on her and what an interesting lady she was.
This is such a great likeness of her, and again, it;s those eyes that give your images depth. Love the subtle hues you use Paul. Another fine piece of artwork to add to your portfolio. xx
