So nice to see you once again doing a painting of the iconic Marilyn! Fabulous work Paul! Your use of the printed page has given an added depth and story to the work. There’s so much sadness and longing in those eyes.

  • Hi dear Linda many many thanks for your fab words , the sadness in Marilyn’s face and the stencil used was to show her mainly in the news papers , Typecast , right to her demise … thrilled you especially enjoyed the depth …and eyes .. Love & Peace . Paul

What a masterpiece of a work I love the colors and the random letters and words. This has the feeling of a dramatic article on the late Norma Jean (I’m afraid to mention her stage name or RB will flush this!). A fabulous creation, Paul. Can you tell I like this one?

  • Oh yes thank you Seth , I can tell … I am delighted you see all the meaning that I placed into like you said Dramatic , Marilyn’s life unfolded in the news papers until her death and still to this day , I am so bemused how there was never ever a court case to her demise , this would have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo interesting !… My special thanks my good friend . Paul

So deeply emotional! You’ve painted her in a way that reaches out of the screen and won’t let go.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwww how delighted , your fab description of reaching out is just what I want in my art of Marilyn , thank you so much Celeste … Happy weekend Paul
