The Lake District National Park…… Always comes across so inviting, vibrant, tranquil, colourful, a place for reflection, somewhere to ease troubled souls and reconnect with the natural world.
What happens when this tranquil natural world turns retrograde?
The tranquil streams turn to rivers and rivers cause flooding. The mountains, an array of colour and geographical magnificence turn to a dangerous wilderness when the mist rolls down the valleys aided by the howling wind. The breath taking scenery becomes restricted upon the arrival of yet another down pour and suddenly the place looks bleak, uninviting, moody, baron, wet, cold and dark.
This beautiful place seems to mood swing like the manic depressed.
Theres a dark side to The Lake District and this is my interpretation of it.
