Louise, why do you have to keep making me wish I was somewhere else? Wow, this is a stunning shot. But what separates it from the rest is the sunlight through the beer where everyting else is in silhouette. Checked the larger view and it looks like he`s got a Corona, but don`t know about hers… don`t they like the same beer? Or maybe she doesn`t like lime?

This is lovely work, so you don`t need to stop making me jealous… just keep `em comin’!!

Well it’s your snow shots that did it…tempt me with snow that I just can’t get here! So here is the warm beach you can’t have there!
And yessss, we’re both drinking Corona…Darren withOUT the lemon, me with..sorry if you’re a beer purist who frowns on fruit! But you’re right, mine looks like something else…perhaps he fobbed me off with something else!

Heavenly dream of a place, you’ve made me want to be there since your first pictures of Cocos Island, it’s exquisite and I love this view of you two in it. Corona’s very big here; lots of lemon with it. I periodically check craigslist for jobs in exotic locales. Is there anything to do there to earn a living? (beyond the obvious and probably few jobs of selling beer).

I don’t think there is much going on there Barbara…just a little tourism, and even that is kept to a minium thanks to the absence of 5star hotels. Just 1 restaurant and 1 cafe. Most people seem to work in tourism, schooling, health and other services. As a painter, I think you would be in your element!! My aunty spent a year there in the 70s and spent most of her time painting…that is how I first learnt of the place through her wonderful paintings. I’m wondering what Craigslist is? Thanks so much for your interest in these images of Cocos…I love that it’s made you want to be there!!

Craigslist.com is a phenomenal international bulletin board. It’s based in San Francisco, but has cities all over the globe. You hit a link to your country and city, and come up with jobs, housing, work, barter, free stuff, gigs, temporary work, work in dozens of occupations, it’s fantastic. You can put in ads for free, email responses are routed through them so it stays private until you say so. You can find anything on craigslist from cars, to houseware, to houses. And in every country in the world. Let me know if you have any trouble finding it.
