Elephants by the sea
Elephant Rocks, William Bay National Park, Western Australia (near Denmark)
This national park is one of my favourite places on Earth. I was lucky to visit recently with my sister, climbing around the rocks and beaches for hours. Only we had to share it with a few snakes that were making the most of the spring sunshine!

That’s remarkable. How like lumbering, bathing, napping elephants they are, never saw them before! And that you were there climbing around on them, I am filled with envy. The coloring is all superb, the glass-like sand, the blue to green water, that dappled sky, and the brilliant ochre-orange rock is amazing. What a place you live in, your photographs are always filled with wonder and love.
