Reflective moment

Reflection on the water, reflection on the past.

Like many West Aussie families in the 70’s, we liked to picnic at Mussel Pool. I don’t remember the park in detail, but on a recent visit, a sense of familiarity rose. Memories of inky water, dancing light and children laughing. Our greatest adventures were in our minds, acted out on the grassy banks of the pool.

Mussel Pool… haven’t been there since my kids were small, must try to get there again next time I’m down in Perth to see how much it’s changed.

Thank you GD…yeah, really worth a visit because there is lots of different things to photograph…nature, trains, people, water, etc…quite a spin out to go back there after many years :))
