Number 10 in my 365 project
looking for the gifts in the present, each day for a year.
An allen key, a bottle cap from a cider stubby I think, and a tuning fork were kicking around my dressing table and arranged themselves as joy almost a year ago. I keep them there as when I most need to see joy, it’s right there in front of my nose.
They jumped out this evening….a little dark and sadly a little fuzzy. But fuzzy joy might be the best….
Do you know, not everyone reads joy when they look at this. My daughters didn’t see it straight up.

I like to play. I find joy in small things and moments where the edge between conscious looking and subconscious seeing becomes soft enough for me to be there for a moment.

Thank you Nadine! I am on a bit of a me me me thing right now. An interesting wander, and a bit over the top prolific (uploading a tiny fraction of what is bubbling forth.) I’ll settle back to normal one day soon I am sure! x
