Number 9 of my 365 project
Looking for gifts in the present, each day for a year.
On Sundays, I walk the other way, away from town. It is too dangerous during the week to walk that way, as the road shoulders are non-existent on the hilly bends. I like the quiet of Sunday for the hills and valleys. There is a rocky hill. I always find a small round rock there on the roadside that fits my hand perfectly, which I carry home in a comforting, comfortable way, and bestow upon a lucky and deserving cactus.
Every cactus needs a rock to keep it warm.

I like to play. I find joy in small things and moments where the edge between conscious looking and subconscious seeing becomes soft enough for me to be there for a moment.

lovely – words, actions, image.
There is something very comforting about a rock that fits the hand. I don’t know why, but I am dran to them! Thank you!
