In the winter wash.Hanging out at the line is a lovely space to allow for an open and empty mind.
A precious patch of sun in what has been an unusually cold winter. (of course only by our standards)Fujifilm finepix S1500 auto settingAs is

I like to play. I find joy in small things and moments where the edge between conscious looking and subconscious seeing becomes soft enough for me to be there for a moment.
magic little light patch! It’s so true about the empty and open mind- hanging out laundry is perfect mindfulness practice!
We are lucky to have the climate to do it! A dear friend many years ago taught me how to overcome my loathing of the folding part – fold straight off the line where possible – that way I am outside and not dealing with a huge mound of stuff all at once, usually late at night. Sometimes I’ll just fold a few things each time I pass the line through a day, and at the end I have it all done!
The serenity of simple actions … if it can be captured, you did it here. [ to mix cultures and metaphors : a light patch heart angel gives a blessing ]
Thank you sweet mmargot!
It smells like winter, washing and a little bit of spring..
mmmm spring! Although I must say our springs are usually all too short and desperate, hot one minute, freezing the next and then suddenly it is all dry and summer! Thank you Woepi!
aaw thank you Nadine!
