I like to play. I find joy in small things and moments where the edge between conscious looking and subconscious seeing becomes soft enough for me to be there for a moment.

    Oh no! The Nightshade Wars!!
I love shots of veges. Are these from your garden?

  • but wait….there’s more! Yes, from my garden. Autumn abundance can be both exhilarating and tyrannical. Solanaceae have certainly got charisma and sumptuous beauty! I love images of vegetables too, almost as much as I love my vegetables!

Yes, the charisma is there, and I agree with sumptuous, but they are prone to the sulks, and are easily seduced by The Dark Side. Gotta watch them. Glad you’ve got yours under control!
I miss my vegie garden. Need to start a new one – a sneaky inconspicuous one that the owner won’t even notice.

  • hmm….a sneaky vegie garden? the vegies might have to masquerade as flower borders! Pretty frilly lettuce and ruby chard……curly red kale and bok choi tucked in with some marigolds and violas!

These tomatoes are definitely not under control in the garden…. sprawling crawling things, lounging all over the peppers and Egplants!

Oh they look so fantastic! Around here we can get those wonderful yellow pear tomatoes from the Mennonite farmer’s market and I have grown my own from seeds saved from the market. What a scrumptious harvest image, Lou!

  • Thank you dear Betty! I have been saving the seed of around a dozen heritage varieties for a decade now. Sadly, these little yellow pear are from a hybrid plant I bought. I’ll save some seed and see, but they probably won’t be true to type.
