I have an endless passion for succulent plants, from the most extravagantly exotic funky Euphorbias, to relatively common humble little plant such as this! These are at school fetes, markets, swap meets, opp shops and the like. They are tough and forgiving – a vital part of all relationships don’t you think!!? And if looked after, watered in summer, not so much in winter, will look lovely textured all of the time.

I like to play. I find joy in small things and moments where the edge between conscious looking and subconscious seeing becomes soft enough for me to be there for a moment.

I really like this Lou..very interesting textures and love the high key effect.
Thank you so much Kim! I was tempted to go even more high key, but felt it was losing too much I was atatched to! Gotta be brave to do high key!!

It’s almost alive like a sea grass swaying in the water.
Why thank you for the fav Elizabeth!! I get the water feel too – although hadn’t quite put a name to it in my head yet!

lovely effect to make it POP
Thank you! Next time I think I would try to get more picky and lose the hint of the terracotta of the pot – I was so happy with the watery effect, and those bits of pot peeking through are making me itch to get it better! x
