I live in a small wheatbelt town in Western Australia, where art is not always high on the agenda.
This place is both my inspiration and my frustration. I love the light here, and the sky, the spaciousness of it all, and what tiny remnants of native flora there are here, are breathtakingly glorious. It is the frustration that leads me to get off my backside and be in the world……. I seem to need that sort of adversity to inspire and motivate myself.

I am pretty eclectic when it comes to inspiration, I greedily enjoy colour, form and texture, and playing with these in any way that comes, in the small snippets of time and space that are left of me after all the other stuff that needs to happen.

Playing with digital photography satisfies my creative needs at the moment………my studio will be the last room we finish in the crazy house we build, so all the more messy creating paraphernalia in boxes remain……
