I just love this. It’s not precisely impressionistic, nor would I say it it has a home in a widely recognized genre. In this sense it is original in the very best way possible. The verticality of line, the Gaussian blur which is right on the money, the wondeful choice of complimentary blues whch enhance the sense of a rainy mood leaving behind in its wake the wonderfully pleasing reflective areas, especially on the street…A truly wonderful image.
