We had a rare sighting today while travelling over the mountain – a herd of brumbies grazing amongst the snowgrass.

This black mare & her youngster were a little curious as we made our way closer to them, hoping to capture them on camera before they took flight.

Equine artist working in pastel, oils & acrylics – specialising in the romantic Friesian horse & magical Gypsy Cob. I also like to paint landscapes, unicorns & fantasy. I live on a farm surrounded by native animals & birds, horses, cattle, a few sheep & 3 dogs with my partner based on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
