Uluru IV by Louise Fahy

Canvas Prints

I visited Uluru/Ayers Rock in January 2008. It was summertime there, and it was incredibly hot (it was 42C at 3.00 am!!) but also incredibly interesting. When I took this photo I was on an aboriginal tour, which I really enjoyed and highly recommend to anyone who travels there. Beautiful landscape, colors and people.

Wow! Great catch Louise. This rock is enormous. I like the section you are showing here. Not the usual view ot it. So beautiful with all the clouds in the sky and the trees across the front.

  • Thanks Ginny, I’m glad to hear you like this pic. :-)

A stunning capture of Uluru on a hot and stormy afternoon. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your Aboriginal tour of Uluru (I used to work for Anangu Tours – an experience that I shall never forget). Beautiful photography :-)

  • Thanks Kieran! The colours were amazing, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Lucky you having the experience of working there!
