I’ve wasted time on pictures
I’ve wasted time on pictures belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, PhilosophicalI walked down the street, unsure of where I was,
The direction in which I am pointed implies I am lost,
So where to go to now? Change or carry on the same,
I think I may be weary of this very dreary plane.
The faces I see are ghost like- their impact hardly felt,
My life belongs to me and not to any body else.
If I want to stop this motion and ease off the flow,
It’s not up to you to argue or ask where I’ll go,
I’m claiming back my sanity, grasping it to my heart,
I’ve wasted time on pictures when really I’m the art.
I reject all that you stand for, you are whistling in the wind.
I pity you your blindness and the shallow grave you’re in.
Tied to flesh you rot each day, your power slowly dying,
Stop a while and listen close- can’t you hear the crying?
I’ve dried my tears, embraced my soul, my limits now are few,
I’ll dance away engulfed in light and never think of you,
So choose your path and choose it well, I reside now in the skies,
For the path is mine, the path is truth and its beauty never dies.
